Matrix #SoColour

So Colour is part of the Matrix Professional Hair-Colouring Line, Being Permanent, this range will be able to offer you full coverage to banish stubborn White and Grey Hair.

The thing that so great about this product range Is it allows you to be creative and chose which level peroxide (Developer) to use. There are four choices you can go for, which I will explain further so you can determine which will be best for you.

10Vol (3%)- It only works if you are going from a lighter tone to a darker one, not the other way around. Can be used for toning but the hair will remain at the same level of lightness.

20Vol (6%)- Usually best for Grey Hair or Lifting and Toning. Can be used to slightly lift the hair (1-2 Levels) and allow permanent pigments to get inside the hair cuticles.

30Vol (9%)- Good for High Lift Colours, such as Matrix HighLift Blondes. (Lifts 2-3 Levels) Good to use when trying to achieve a high lift while bleaching too.

40Vol (12%)- A Volume 40 developer serves only for lightening (Up to 8 Levels) Now this may seem like the best option, but you must bare in mind the higher the peroxide level, the more damaging it’ll be to your hair. So be careful!

Grey hair tends to be resistant and typically takes longer to grab hold of the hair. Since there is no pigment, there is no need to lift. You just need to open the cuticle enough to deposit the color. If you feel you can get full coverage using a 10 or 15 volume then by all means use a lower volume. In most cases, it’s best to go for 20vol to ensure you get a full coverage.

If your wanting to use 15vol, Simply Mix 10vol and 20vol 1:1 Equal Amounts
